Clubs

At St. Joseph's we have a number of extra-curricular clubs available to our children. Some of the clubs are provided by outside companies and all clubs are charged at £3.00 per session, with the exception of Monday football which is £3.50 per session.

We currently offer Multiskills, Football, Zumba and Karate. The clubs are always very popular with the children and enjoyed by all, but places are limited.

On Thursdays after school, children from Year 1 to Year 6 can attend our Zumba class. Zumba is an excellent way of keeping fit that is fun and fashionable! The coaches from Pertemps Coachright also come in every lunchtime to provide clubs for children free of charge. This includes Multiskills and Zumba and lunchtime clubs are open to all children during our staggered lunchtimes.

Half-term Playscheme

We have recently started running three day playschemes during the half term holidays (in October, February and May). These have been very successful and enable the children to enjoy a variety of activities.

Previous playschemes have included arts and crafts sessions (bag making, fabric painting, mask making), sports, DJ sessions, Magic Skills workshops, Circus Skills workshops, wild animal handling and Science workshops.

The play schemes are charged at £15 for the three days and are run by staff, coaches from Pertemps Coachright and outside providers. Letters are sent out to book places in the weeks leading up to the play schemes and places are strictly limited.
